Trained under stalwarts of Jaipur and Lucknow gharanas. 29+ years of sadhana, twice performed at the Republic Day Parade on Kartavya Path, and official Gandharva Mahavidyalaya examiner for 22+ years.

Systematic examination syllabus accredited by Bruhad Gujarat Sangeet Samiti and Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya from Prarambhik through Visharad certification.

Why Synchrony is an Institution, Not Just “Classes”
In an era of commercial hobby clubs and viral social clips, Synchrony Kathak Academy preserves the solemn discipline of Indian classical dance. Founded in 2014, the academy functions as a dedicated gurukul for the Surat community.
Guru–Shishya Parampara
The art is transmitted orally and physically from Guru to disciple. The teacher evaluates posture, temperament, and emotional maturity, guiding each student at an individualized pace.
Ghungroo & Taal
Ghungroos are the student’s sacred instrument. They are tied after prayer and touched to the forehead. Each footstrike (tatkar) renders intricate fractions of beats audible to the listener.
Abhinaya & Katha
Kathak originates from ancient traveling storytellers. Our students learn to convey subtle Sanskrit verses, Braj bhasha thumris, and devotion through the nine classical sentiments (Navarasa).

Who Can Join the Academy?
Synchrony Kathak Academy welcomes disciplined aspirants seeking authentic Indian classical grounding. Batches are segregated by age and technical proficiency under the direct supervision of Guru Reshma Nagar.
Young Aspirants (Ages 5+)
Instills spinal alignment, balance, patience, and rhythmic ear. Children cultivate respect for mentors and Indian classical ethos.
Gandharva Examination Track
Official curriculum covering Prarambhik, Praveshika, Madhyama, and Visharad examinations conducted annually.
Adult Classical Immersion
